[News] SM Entertainment and Mnet settles their differences?

SM Entertainment and Mnet Media are showing signs of reconciliation.

In past issues, SM Entertainment refrained from supplying their artists’ music on Mnet’s website, making everyone think of conspiracy theories or competition between the two powerful companies.The conflict continued, SNSD, SHINee, Super Junior, and other SM artists’ latest releases and music weren’t available in Mnet’s site during their comebacks that is, until the recent release of duo TVXQ‘s (Why) Keep Your Head Down.

Having their single released on the 3rd on Mnet’s official website, rumors said that the two companies are settling their differences. Those among the music industry are also hinting on the possible reconciliation of SM Entertainment and Mnet Media.

Through a phone call in the 3rd, SM told Newsen, “We have been continuously trying to work out the conflict with Mnet. The single was provided through their site after gaining agreeable terms.” The representative also added, “Following TVXQ, we are expecting other artists music to be supplied on the site this year.”
