The “2010-2012 Visit Korea Year” SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS concert held for two days on June 10-11 in Paris, France, will be edited into a one-hour show to be broadcasted on MBC on July 2.
According to a European representative, the tickets that were on presale on May 16 caused the server of the ticket sales website to crash. On May 26, the ticket sales were opened again, and everything was sold out within 15 minutes. Because of this, 300 fans gathered in front of the Louvre Museum, Paris, to request for an additional date.
SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS has also attracted the local media. Le Monde and Le Figaro published articles entitled “Hallyu Strikes Europe” and “The Korean Wave Hits Zénith” respectively.
The SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR has started from August 2010 and is continuing until now, passing through Seoul, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and more. The concert would also be held in Tokyo in September.
