[News] SHINee’s MR-removed performance of “Sherlock” awes netizens.
SHINee‘s always been known for their complex dance moves and impeccable live skills, so it should come to no surprise that the boys are back again with another flawless round of performances!
A video of their MR-removed performance of “Sherlock” on the March 23rd episode of KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘ has been making its round on the internet, attracting attention everywhere for its display of the boys’ live skills. Despite their powerful dance moves, the boys don’t waiver once, carrying on as if they were made to dance and sing.

Having finally made their return after a year and six month long hiatus with their fourth mini-album, “Sherlock“, SHINee stopped to chat with reporters ahead of their comeback stage on KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘.
The boys were asked what they thought differentiated “Sherlock” from their other albums, to whichMinho replied, “There’s no clear distinction as to what exactly SHINee’s style is. Instead of being fixed on one style, SHINee always aims to show something new.”
He continued, “I think that’s why with every new album release, we focus more on how we can better express the song rather than what style to come out with next.”

SHINee‘s new mini-album’s title song “Sherlock” music video has reached over 1 million views in just one day since its release.
The music video was released on Youtube on the 22nd and in just 24 hours it raked in over a million views, and as of now, it has exceeded over 2 million, confirming SHINee’s global popularity.
In addition, “Sherlock” music video was ranked on Youtube’s world chart of ’Most viewed today’, as well as ranking first on charts including ‘Most favorited video‘, ‘Most liked video‘, and ‘Most commented video.’
SHINee impressed their fans with recent comeback stages on ‘M! Countdown‘ and ‘Music Bank‘ featuring their great live vocals and flashy performances.

[News] Taemin brags about his pretty boy looks.
Reporters of KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘ had an opportunity to go behind the scenes of SHINee‘s new advertisement photoshoot where they interviewed the boys on their comeback style.
Even before SHINee’s “Sherlock” comeback, Taemin‘s topless teaser photos headlined everywhere for his thin frame and dramatic style change. When asked about it, he said, “I’ve always been the one with the pretty looks. Through this photoshoot, I want to show a more masculine side.”
The other members immediately shot in by jokingly accusing him of “showing off about his looks”, to which Taemin quickly retorted, “But when I went topless, my body was like that of a child…”

[News] Girl Groups need to watch out for SHINee’s Taemin?
Recently a ‘Taemin Warning‘ for idol girl groups has come about, and it’s due to SHINee‘s Taeminbeing ‘prettier than a girl’.
SHINee officially made their comeback through ‘M! Countdown‘ on the 22nd. The members grabbed fans’ attention with their image transformations.
Taemin received the most interest for his transformation however. The pre-released album jackets showed Taemin with long, straight hair, looking like a mythical beauty. Taemin has long been praised for his ‘prettier than a girl face’, but this new image concept accentuated it even more. His small face, slim figure, and shiny looks are comparable to girl group members.

[News] Onew and Lee Joon’s close friendship garners attention once again.
We all know that idols are very close with one another, but it looks like the friendship of MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and SHINee’s Onew are really close although they are from different groups.
Previously, Onew and Lee Joon not only mentioned each other on radio programs and interviews, but they also eat together often and attended each others’ activities (such as concerts) showing their close friendship.
At the recent M!Countdown program, Onew and Lee Joon’s close bond once again surfaced.
As the MCs of M!Countdown, Lee Joon and Mir congratulated the SHINee members for their comeback. Lee Joon was seen giving a rose to Onew and this made many fans jealous, saying, “How I wish I was Onew, so Lee Joon would give me a rose”, and “Wow Joon and Onew are really close, I ship them!”

[News] SM Entertainment announce cover contest for SHINee’s Sherlock + Plans for 3rd Korean full length album!
After releasing their 4th mini album “Sherlock” and successfully making their comeback with their title track on Korean music shows, SMTOWN revealed a video on their official Youtube for a SHINee cover contest.
The “Sherlock Cover Contest” will enable fans to take part in either a singing cover or a dance cover of SHINee’s latest song, where they can win some great prizes from the members of SHINee.
Everysing, the website that is hosting the contest, will give fans until April 13th to submit their video recordings of their performance of SHINee’s “Sherlock”. There will also be an option for participants to take part in a free style genre where you can include your own improvisations for the song or dance.
Prizes include SHINee’s stage accessories, framed signed “Sherlock” mini albums and coupons to spend on SHINee goods. To apply and take part, you can find more information and apply on the official page for the “Sherlock Cover Contest” on Everysing or by downloading the official Everysing application onto your smart phone.
At the same time, SHINee is also set to release another Korean full length album after their Arena tour in Japan. Their previous full length album “Lucifer” was released on July 19th in 2010, where they promoted the title track “Lucifer”.
SHINee will continue promoting their 4th mini album on Korean music shows for the next 4 weeks, after which they will return to Japan to start their arena tour on the 25th April starting in Fukuoka.

Idol group SHINee who just made a comeback with their new song “Sherlock“ will be embarking on a Japanese tour after four weeks of promotions in Korea.
SHINee performed their new song on the March 22nd edition of Mnet‘s M! Countdown, a long year and a half after they last ended promotions in Korea for “Lucifer” and “Hello“.
After 4 weeks of activities for “Sherlock” in Korea, the boys will immediately be crossing over to Japan to begin their Japanese tour starting at Marine Messe Fukuoka on April 25th.
Once they wrap up official promotions in Japan and their tour comes to a close, SHINee will be releasing a full-length album in Korea towards the end of the year.
SHINee’s new song “Sherlock” is an intense electronic track that’s almost like a remix of “Note” and “Clue“.
The choreography for their “Sherlock” dance was created by internationally-famous choreographer Tony Testa, which drew attention way ahead of their comeback.
And in the MV for the song that was released March 22nd, Girls’ Generation member Jessica who made a special appearance as a mysterious female character who shares a clue to help close a case.

Boy group SHINee will be making their comeback through M Countdown after 1 year and 6 months. Once they made their comeback, SHINee will begin and continue their promotions in Korea. They will promote their comeback song Sherlock for 4 weeks, after that, they will start their Japanese Arena Tour which is on April 25 in Fukuoka, Japan. Once the Japanese tour is done, SHINee plans to comeback again but this time, they will release a full Korean album in the second half of the year.

SHINee released their anticipated mini-album, “Sherlock,” on March 19th, in which the title song of the same name achieved anall-kill. Since the digital release of the mini-album on the 19th, and the physical release on the 21st, SHINee has yet to release the title music vide
It was recently reported that SHINee will finally release the “Sherlock” music video on March 22nd.
The music video will be released through SMTOWN’s Facebook and YouTube account, as well as Naver Music and various other music websites simultaneously. The music video will reveal the dramatic and colorful changes that SHINee has undergone for their comeback.
“Sherlock” was directed by Cho Suhyun and was shot in early March at the studios in Namyang-ju. SHINee can be see in an 1800s-like museum acting like detectives working a case. The group portrays an different, yet appealing and eye-catching look for “Sherlock.”
The choreography for “Sherlock” is by world class choreographer Tony Tessla, who has worked with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Kylie Minogue in the past.
Girls’ Generation’s Jessica also participates in the music video and will be seen leaving vital clues to the members of SHINee.
Meanwhile, SHINee is set to perform their first comeback performance tonight on Mnet M! Countdown. Shim Jaewon, SM Entertainment director and choreographer, recently posted on Facebook that he is currently at the M! Countdown building with SHINee.

Legendary group Shinhwa will hold their comeback concert after the release of their album, and it turns out the concert will be attended by members of idol hoobae groups.

The film has decided on May as its official release, and on March 21st, revealed the first of what will be a series of teasers to come. The first teaser is an official poster featuring a typographic compilation of all of the artists under SM Entertainment.

[News] KARA, Girls’ Generation, 2PM, 2NE1, SHINee, and CNBLUE receive nominations for MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2012.
Some of the top Kpop stars have received nominations at the MTV VMAJ 2012 (Video Music Awards Japan 2012).
On March 19th, MTV Japan revealed the nominees for the MTV VMAJ 2012 (Video Music Awards Japan 2012). KARA, Girls’ Generation, 2PM, 2NE1, SHINee, and CNBLUE all received nominations in various categories.
In the “Best Group Video” category, 2PM received a nomination for “I’m Your Man“.
In the “Best New Artist Video” category, CNBLUE received a nomination for “In My Head” along with 2NE1 with “I AM THE BEST“.
In the “Best Video of the Year” category, Girls’ Generation received a nomination for “MR. TAXI“.
In the “Best Choreography” category, SHINee received a nomination for “LUCIFER“.
