On the previous episode of MBC’s We Got Married, viewers and fans were left with a cliffhanger wherein Naeun’s third present to Taemin for the Coming of Age day remained a mystery.
The MCs (and Taemin himself) predicted the present to be a kiss during the June 8th broadcast of the show, as the clue given by Naeun was “four syllables”. However, it was revealed that the present was bungee jumping (four syllables in Korean)!
As the newlywed couple share a mutual love for extreme sports, Naeun felt that it was fitting for bungee jumping to be a Coming of Age present for her reel-life husband.
While going up the elevator to reach the platform, Taemin was shocked by Naeun’s bravery. Naeun expressed that she was not feeling nervous or scared at all. Despite his success in sky diving back in Switzerland, Taemin couldn’t help but be frightened by the height as he looked down towards the ground from the platform.
Soon, it was Naeun’s turn to be afraid as she hesitated to the jump alone. After much deliberation, both Taemin and Naeun decided to do the jump together to overcome their nerves. Their first attempt in jumping was met with much apprehension and gasps of fear as they shuffled to and fro on the platform.
With encouragement from the coach, they leapt off the platform boldly while holding on to each others’ hands. Once they had boarded the boat to transport them back to land, Naeun shocked Taemin once again with a proposal to do the jump once more.
